JackHarvey LLC has been serving customers in southeastern Minnesota since 1988. Located in Plainview, MN the firm continues to grow by helping farmers, business owners and individuals realize their financial goals through sound business practices, insightful planning and innovative succession strategies. Our People
Steve Jack, CPA and senior partner in JackHarvey LLC has more than twenty-five years of experience helping small businesses, farmers, and individuals grow and prosper. After starting in public accounting with a large, national firm, Steve chose to move his family to Plainview, Minnesota and open his own company, Jack & Associates in the early 1980’s. JackHarvey LLC is the next step in the growth of that business. Steve’s areas of concentration include estate planning, farm and business tax planning and preparation, small business development, and estate and trust tax preparation. As a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, Steve also works with clients to provide innovative solutions that capitalize on current technology. Steve’s longtime commitment to the farmers, business owners, and individuals of the region stems from a genuine interest in rural and small town life in the Midwest, and his belief that it is a way of life that can be passed on to future generations through careful estate planning and sound business management.
Jolene Harvey, CPA and partner in JackHarvey LLC, has been a team member since 1999. Jolene came to the company from a major public accounting firm with a strong background in small business development and farm tax planning. Jolene has become one of the region’s top QuickBooks Pro Advisors and provides QuickBooks training and consulting services to professionals in the tri-state area. Jolene works with small businesses and corporate clients interested in integrating bookkeeping and accounting services through the use of new technology. Her advanced knowledge of integrated systems allows her to tailor solutions to client needs using the most cost effective methods available. She also works in small business development and tax planning and preparation as well as farm tax planning and preparation. Jolene and her family are lifetime residents of Southeastern Minnesota, and she particularly enjoys the way her work brings her into contact with both the rural and urban areas of our greater community as she strives to help her clients overcome challenges and realize their goals.
Scott Luepke, the newest member of our team, joined JackHarvey,LLC in September of 2009. Scott comes to us after two years experience in a Rochester CPA firm working with individuals and small businesses. He is a graduate of Minnesota State University – Mankato, and will be sitting for the CPA exam in the near future. As another experienced professional, Scott is available to help our clients with all of their tax and accounting needs.
Tammy McNallan has been part of the team since 2007. She has a background in retail sales and office management. Tammy is responsible for scheduling appointments, updating our website, maintaining client records and responding to customer calls. Whether you walk through the door, or call on the telephone, your first contact at JackHarvey LLC will be Tammy. She will answer your questions and direct you to the team member you are looking for.
Terry King has been helping our farm and individual tax clients since 1994. Before joining JackHarvey LLC, Terry prepared tax returns for a large national tax preparation firm. He is a well-seasoned tax consultant concentrating in farm and individual taxes.
Deb Klavetter rounds out the team at JackHarvey LLC. She has been the "saint behind the scenes" since 1994. Deb assembles tax returns, prepares 1099's, manages the electronic filing, and anything else that needs to be done to keep tax season running smoothly.
